  37. 'CAROLUS ITALIC' is a high quality font containing full hinting for correct 
  38. rendering at small point sizes and a total of 105 kerning pairs for correct 
  39. character spacing. It is supplied 'as is' and no waranty is implied or given 
  40. by the author. The font is suitable for both headlines and body text, and 
  41. should render well down to 6 point. It is based on a printed specimen of hot 
  42. metal type of 'Carolus' supplied by the Mouldtype Foundry. The font contains 
  43. a full range of upper case letters with small capitals in place of the lower 
  44. case letters, together with the figures 0 to 9, a full range of punctuation, 
  45. plus a fair range of diacritics. It was hand traced in order to achieve a 
  46. high 
  47. quality outline and compiled using FontMonger Version 1.0.7. This font 
  48. represents aproximately 1000 manhours of work.
